Marcos Ayala Tango Company

Marcos Ayala was born in Buenos Aires. From a young age, he practiced traditional Argentine folk dances, which made him stand out from others. After studying dance, he became a teacher for "Danzas Argentinas" at the National Dance School. He also learned classical and contemporary dance, jazz, tango, and partner techniques.

In 2006, at the age of 19, Marcos won first prize at the “World Championship of Tango” in Japan. After that, he became the lead dancer in many famous tango companies and went on many national and international tours.

In 2010, he created his own tango company. He started performing all over Argentina and later around the world. His shows brought new creative and choreographic ideas to the tango scene and helped modernize the art form.

After a big tour in the United States, Marcos Ayala received two Latin ACE Awards in 2015 from the Association of Entertainment Critics of New York: one for his career and another for his show Tango Lovers, which was named “Best Musical of the Year.”

Every year, he tours with his company around the world. They perform shows like Tango Buenos Aires, Tango in the Shadows, Astor Tango, and Tango Argentina in countries such as Russia, China, Israel, the Baltic states, Brazil, the United States, Mexico, Chile, Finland, Sweden, Spain, and France.

Thanks to this international success, Marcos Ayala is now seen as one of the best modern tango dancers in the world.

As a director, choreographer, and dancer, he always works to develop the tango and keep it alive for new generations. His company has created a strong artistic language that impresses audiences. He tells contemporary stories through choreography, but always stays true to the tango style he knows best.

Together with his partner Paola Camacho, Marcos forms a perfect dance duo, known for their precise movements and powerful expression. His talent amazes the audience, as does the work of the other dancers in his company.
